So what is a lotion bar? It is solid lotion in the shape of a bar or stick, solid at room temperature, but melting in contact with skin. Made with beeswax and candelilla wax to make them solid, these amazing waxes are also humectant, so they will help keep your skin moisturized, and are non-comedogenic - they won't clog pores. Because there is no water in the formula, a chemical preservative is not necessary, 

How do you use lotion bars? Open the container and twist up the bar. I like to rub it on my palm for a moment to warm it up, and then apply to clean, dry skin. The warmer your skin, the smoother it will glide on, so after a shower is a great time to apply.
